After the veteran arrives to post bail for his cousin, his money is unjustly stolen by the local police led by a crooked police chief, Sandy Burnne (Don Johnson).

Boxer

Boxer is a Polish-language film about an aspiring boxer named Jedrzej (Eryk Kulm Jr.) who leaves his home in communist Poland to pursue his dreams of being a world-renowned boxer. Terrified of making the same mistakes his father did, the prizefighter travels to England in the hopes of becoming the greatest boxer in history.
However, upon arriving in the new country with his wife, Kasia (Adrianna Chlebicka), the pair struggle as immigrants, and Jedrzej’s career doesn’t take off like he thought it would. After facing the trials of such a difficult adjustment, Jedrzej agrees to participate in a rigged fight, which completely alters the trajectory of his life and his family. Now, in a world of gangsters, drugs, and other women, he quickly devolves into someone he never thought he’d be. Boxer is streaming on Netflix on Sept. 11.
Uglies

Based on the novel of the same name by Scott Westerfeld, Uglies is a science fiction film that takes place in a post-apocalyptic dystopian society. In a world where everyone is considered “ugly” until they turn 16 and undergo an operation that makes them “Pretty,” Tally Youngblood (Joey King) realizes there might be another way. After her friend Peris (Chase Stokes) receives the procedure, it becomes clear that nothing is as glamorous as it once seemed, and those in charge are lying about the purpose of becoming “Pretty.”
As she rebels against society's enforced conformity, Tally encounters a renegade settlement known as the Smoke, where other runaways have eluded the teenage operation. While she might be safe outside the confines of the government’s control, it’s all but certain Tally hasn’t seen the last of those who wish to make her and the others “Pretty.” Uglies is streaming on Netflix on Sept. 13.
His Three Daughters

Written and directed by Azazel Jacobs, His Three Daughters follows three estranged sisters, Katie (Carrie Coon), Rachel (Natasha Lyonne), and Christina (Elizabeth Olsen), who reunite to look after their dying father over the course of a few days. Wildly different in nearly every way, the sisters embody a bittersweet story of love, grief, and the complexities of human emotion.
As they converge in a small New York apartment, the trio do their best to heal themselves and one another as tensions boil over within the confines of such a small space. With their seemingly broken relationship, the strain of their family dynamics is bound to erupt in tense yet humorous ways. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2023 and was hailed for its marvelous performances by each leading woman.
Rez Ball

Produced by LeBron James, Rez Ball is a sports drama based on the book Canyon Dreams: A Basketball Season on the Navajo Reservation by Michael Powell. Inspired by true events, the film follows a Native American high school basketball team from Chuska, New Mexico, and their battle for the state championship.
